Winter – a time to savour the quiet time of belonging to ourselves

In winter, we are invited to draw our energy inward. The winter holidays offer longer days to enjoy being with ourselves. As we approach the shortest day, now is a wonderful time to reflect on the path we have traversed this year.

Do we still feel in alignment or is there some minor (or major) transition to be made.

The darkest day in the season of winter, the time of year when life has receded deep within the earth and it appears on the surface as if nothing is happening.

This is the primal state that precedes all growth.

There is always subtle movement deep within.

This is a space of deep thinking and knowing, of facilitating gentle flow on our journey through life.

Take a look at the bagua for your home and focus on the area associated with water – the journey/life-path. Is there some clutter impeding your flow there physically, mentally or emotionally? Add some decorative elements which imply they type of movement and flow you wish to invite into your life path as we journey through winter. Planting the seeds for the future as we get ready to celebrate the return of the light.
