Vision boarding to draw in fortunate blessings

Abundance and blessings are quite subjective.
What feels abundant to me might be very different for you. The first and only question here is to consider:
What does Abundance look and feel like for me?
Is it money in the bank? A new job/car/house/wardrobe? Is it the time to enjoy our lives and who we are sharing them with?
All of the above or something else entirely? Perhaps it’s the freedom to relax and choose our own path or trajectory through life?
It’s all in the details…
The key is to get really granular about the details here. There is no point in charging off on your steed of choice before deciding first on where we are headed or at least before having created a clear picture of how we will recognise it once we get “there”.
Getting really clear on what abundance looks like for us and more importantly what it will feel like to have achieved it is the key. If we take the time to do this we will then recognise “it” and be able to relax and enjoy our sense of being in abundance when we achieve it.
The only one true constant in life is change. In applying feng shui to our living and working spaces we are mirroring the dynamic cyclical balance found in nature. There is a natural and necessary ebb and flow of energy as we move throughout the day and the seasons of each year of our lives. Dynamic balance involves changing, growing, flowing movement not static perfection. True balance is always evolving, growing, receding and beginning again. In other words we are seeking to be in harmony with our needs as we move through the different seasons of our lives.
Vision boards to “spell out” what we want to “draw in”.
This year from Feb 4th 2025 to Feb 4th 2026, the 1 water/journey/life-path star is “visiting” the SE combining the energy of water with the energy of wind/wood/ abundance. This invites us to zoom out and take a look at the big picture, creating a greater vision for ourselves.
Making a vision board is a very visceral way of bringing the big picture into focus for ourselves. Whether you choose to draw one up, cut out images and stick them to a page or board or do one up virtually on an app like Canva and print it out. I invite you to get really granular about what abundance looks and feels like for you. What is your vision for a happy and blessed life? This is different for each of us.
Once we have become clear on our vision for our life, we can then move forward and make informed decisions which will transform our vision into an abundant reality. As Roger Green reminds us in The I Ching workbook:-
“One grain of rice creates a thousand grains of rice. Abundance is a natural phenomenon and should not be denied”.
Once you have made a vision board, place it in the SE of your home/home office/bedroom for this year to maintain your attention on your intention for your journey toward abundance and blessings for this year.
Tune in to how you are feeling in this regard every day so that you can adjust your trajectory accordingly.
On these bright mornings, sit facing the rising sun and open yourself up to all of the possibilities and opportunities to begin again that today brings. Every day we get to reinvent ourselves – who do you want to be today? Breathe in the fresh air, feel it fill your lungs with revitalising chi and exhale fully, releasing what you no longer wish to carry.
