Nollaig na mBan was always a special day in our house. The day when the women got to put their feet up and celebrate with one another. After all the hard work cooking and hosting over the festive season, the women took the day off and celebrated with each other. Catching up and sharing, this is a great day to celebrate one another.

It is still a favourite day for women to gather and have a good catch up, supporting one another with love and laughter.

Wherever you are today, take some time to raise a cup to the wonderful women in your life, past and present, and to Mother earth for her amazing support and generosity providing a home to all of us.

Mother-earth energy (the divine feminine)  is all about support, stability, holding, anchoring and centering. Today we lean in with gratitude to those women in our lives who provide us with that wonderful sense of being held and supported throughout the year.

The energy of the new year in feng shui begins at the beginning of February. This time of “in-between” offers us time to pause to celebrate what has gone past and to quietly anticipate the new year which has not yet been dreamed into being.

On February 1st our class will delve deep into 9 star ki as the overall energy moves from 3-tree to 2-earth. What does that mean for each of us? We each have our own elemental signature based on our date of birth and each year we move into a different personal energetic “house” which offers opportunities for change, new beginnings, relationship building, creativity, going deep into transformation, and so on.
