Tuning in to the natural rhythms of mother nature

Fire energy of full Summer
At this time of year, in Summer, we come into a place of presence, clarity and openness. In feng shui this has an association with Fire energy.
In the context of the “seasons of our lives” the fire element represents “full summer”.
Perspective
We have reached the “peak” energy in the cycle of the seasons. When we reach the peak of a hill we are climbing, literally or metaphorically we take time to pause and look around, taking in the view from this fresh new perspective.
Clarity
Being “charged by fire” means manifesting the energy of clarity. Clarity lands with us when we stop and take the time to listen inwards, quietening the outer noise and becoming open and receptive to the enlightenment which comes from being truly present.
Putting aside our devices and taking time in nature allows us to resist the constant state of “expectation” that comes with checking for emails, texts and even news updates.
Allowing ourselves to stop and notice the pace of movement in nature, just listening and tuning in to what is happening in the natural world around us, allows us to tap into that gentle cyclical rhythm within ourselves.
Inspiration
Fire energy illuminates the way forward, allow yourself the space to be inspired.
Take some time this month to slow down to your own personal pace and to ask yourself: what feels right for right now? what can I let go of to “lighten my load” to free myself up to enjoy this moment a bit more?
Feng shui is all about tuning into the natural cyclical and dynamic balance found in nature and reflecting this into our built environment. But before we can do any of that, we need to first tune in to how we are feeling and where we are in the seasons of our life.
From this perspective we can move forward with that inner knowing of what we need in order to come into alignment with our vision for our own lifepath.
