Do a clean sweep to encourage creativity

Do a clean sweep
Take your lead from Mother Nature. As Autumn is upon us we see that Mother Nature is dropping her leaves and fruits and making space.
We can follow suit, now that we have “harvested” this years growth, we can share our abundance with others and do a clean sweep making space for rest and reflection.
This is the time to lie fallow like the field. Full of potential for next years possibilities.
Make time in your busy schedule
Clear some time to connect with your circle of friends, to celebrate each other and what you have experienced individually and collectively this year.
Make some physical space in your environment by clearing out closets. Clearing off flat surfaces and making some visual and physical space to breathe.
Letting go of what no longer serves us creates space on every level in our lives. Nature abhors a vaccum and she will fill this space up with new experiences. However, if we do not first make some space, the visual noise of clutter keeps us stuck in the past.
Creating openness first allows us to be child-like and creative as we plan ahead for which “seeds” we wish to nurture over the dark months ahead.
Learn more about the energetics of clearing clutter
In Chapter 9 of my book A place to call home – Healthy Home = Healthy body, we delve deeply into the connection between our personal energy and that of our surroundings. Clearing our clutter in our environment has a very real connection to clearing space in our inner world. As within, so without. We are not separate from our environment, we are connected by invisible strands of energy to everything we own. When our environment feels heavy, cluttered or stuck in some way that will reflect into how we feel physically, mentally and emotionally and will stifle our creativity.
